Hot on the heels of having signed Cold World, it was announced last week that 108 had also joined the Deathwish family. After 14 years, 3 studio lps, one ep, countless tours, and one break up, it’s great to see 108 back at it and stronger than ever. I was lucky enough to get a copy of their latest self-titled demo with 7 new songs, 2 covers and a demo recording of “Blood”. It proves that 108 is still at the top of their game with their scathing, noisy and emotionally draining hardcore backed by Rob Fish’s honest and thought provoking lyrics. 108 wear their angry hearts on their sleeves, and you gotta respect that.
Coinciding with their recent signing there are a couple new 108 t-shirts, Radha and Yantra, available for your wearing pleasure in the Deathwish store. Check them out, and keep your eye out for their upcoming full length.
