Totally forgot I ordered this until it showed up in the mailbox the other day. I think this is the first white shirt I’ve purchased in years. I’ve been trying to mix it up lately as I’m getting tired of the sea of black that is my shirt closet. Mi Amore hail from Quebec and fucking rock it with their death and roll hardcore. Uprising-era Entombed comes to mind, but strip away any death metal influence. Throw some Motorhead into the mix and G. Amore’s sneering, venom laced vocals and you’re getting close. I love this shit.
The shirt is titled “Le Patterson”, so I’m guessing the art comes courtesy of Ryan Patterson. It’s definitely done in his style. In my opinion it’s hard to go wrong with skulls and this one is pretty damn big. Straying from the ever popular white on black shirt, you can get this in either green on white, gold on white, or black on hot neon green.
Mi Amore also recently released The Lion ep on Cyclop Media, featuring has 5 tracks that were recording during the same session as their previous album The Lamb. “You fucking love rock n’ roll huh?” “Yeah.”
