Soul Control – “Involution” shirt

Soul Control are definitely one of the most exciting hardcore bands of late. I'm still major bummed that I missed them at the Sound & Fury Fest warm-up show due do the retardedly long and unnecessary 2.5 hour wait to get in. I just got Involution, their new album on Rivalry Records, which has 5 new tracks as well as the songs of their s/t 7" and split 7" with I Rise. The new tracks are awesome, and continue with the groove and rhythm heavy hardcore of their previous work. I love that Soul Control has taken influences from notable hardcore/post-hardcore bands (Quicksand, Burn, 108) and melded it into something new and refreshing. If you visit their myspace page you can check out tracks from all their releases, and pick up a shirt featuring the artwork from the Involution album. It's very reflective of their self aware, introspective lyrics.
