A Storm of Light shirts

The only time I saw Neurosis was on their Times of Grace tour. It was one of the most intense aural, visual, bowel loosening shows I have ever attended. It left me with a much appreciated nauseating headache for 2 days after.

I'm gonna go for the easy out here, because A Storm of Light evoke the same feelings and moods that I get from listening to essential Neurosis. Even though A Storm of Light have a more tempered and subdued approach, the tunes are no less crushing. Heavy, layered atmospheres abound and repeated listens are a must to appreciate all they have to offer.

A Storm of Light are releasing their debut album And We Wept The Black Ocean Within on Neurot Records, and have some shirts available through their webstore. There is a Josh Graham designed pre-order shirt available with the purchase of the cd, as well as 2 other shirts and a hoodie. The designs are fantastic and carry the oceanic themes that are prevalent through the album artwork and music.

Definitely a band worth checking out.
