Getting sick sucks. Getting sick twice in one month REALLY sucks. If I cough up one more lungful of phlegm, or have any more fever dreams of little men putting covering me in grass, I will OD on Nyquil.
On the plus side it gave me the opportunity to listen to a lot of music, including some new tracks off the new Arsis album We are the Nightmare, and I am mighty impressed with what I heard. I didn’t feel like their last album ‘United in Regret’ lived up to the promise shown in their Gothemburg spiced death-metal debut A Celebratino of Guilt or the 13 minute epic Diamond for Disease. The songwriting just wasn’t as strong or memorable.
But guitarist/vocalist/songwriter James Malone’s musicianship is second to none, and it sounds like he’s back on track with We are the Nightmare. He comes up with such dynamic and intricate riffs that it’s a pleasure to listen to their albums on repeat just to pick it all apart. I’m pretty sure We are the Nightmare is not going to disappoint.

The new arsis abulm is sicker than you are. I just got my preorder package and I was really impressed with the shirt, the artwork is huge and covers the whole front.
